Big steps forward !

I guess it's time I write a little on my "back home" time...
Let's say that it's going a lot better than at the beginning, I sure miss my life in Montreal, but I really appreciate being with my family, just the feeling of having them close, knowing that whenever I feel like seeing my mom (like everyday:p) I just call her and see her for dinner or sleep at her place or whatever...
At home, with my dad it's also getting better, I think he's doing some really big efforts... he keeps asking me how I am, if I'm down or sad or if I miss my friends back there, if I'm happy to see him and he's so carefull, it's great. I think he sees that I don't speak much when Ghislaine is here, that as soon as we're done eating I go to my room and read or go out but I don't really hang with them in the house ... and he even took friday off to spend it with me and to go wherever I want he said!! I chose Geneva !
Also, the biggest step that I wanted to talk about was about me being gay ... Back then when I told him about Diana, he didn't react well, (I had a LJ entry about it in my old journal...) then we never talked about it, he never asked one thing about her, even her name, I'm not sure he really knew it!
He never ever asked anything about my sentimental life in Montreal, not even when he visited me there, I was with Emma and I was sleeping at her place every night so that he could have my room, he never really asked about it, I told him I was staying at Camille, Pierre, and Emma's but he saw the flat, it's not like there was a spare room! I'm sure he knew because I kept talking about Emma for different stuff, (and I wanted him to know!) but he never asked anything!
The other day, he came in my room and started looking at the pictures on the walls and went:
"- who are all these people ?
- well my friends
- you always say my friends, but you never tell me who they really are like their names and where you know them from and stuff, I feel like I don't know anything about your life"
So he started pointing everyone on the pics and ask who they were, so I started telling him about everyone (he already knew Charley and Camille and had already seen Emma, Vincent, Francois, Anais and Manu)
Then he pointed at Mélissa :
"- that's mélissa
- who ?
- my girlfriend
- oh you have a girlfriend ?... I didn't know
- you never asked
- I know ... but it's nice, I'm glad you have a girlfriend, I'm happy for you.
- what ?! yeah it's cool... I gotta go"
But he asked me to wait and started huggind me and told me he was sorry for all the past fews years when he never accepted.. that now he accepts, that he's happy for me and that he just needed time, it wasn't easy because it all happened when my mom left him and there was too much to handle at once but that he's so sorry and want me to be happy.."
I was a bit in shock, never expected that, couldn't have asked for better words but I didn't even know what to say. I just told him that I was glad, that I understand he needed time but that hearing all this now was making me really happy.
A bit later, he drove me somewhere and he asked lots of stuff about Méli like where she lives, if she has brothers n sisters, how we met, about her job, her age (oups), just normal questions but 100 times more than he ever asked in 7 years !!!!
It was great and unexpected, I still don't talk about her because I'm not used to it and still feel awkward... used to the silence I guess, it'll get better with time probably but at least he knows it's not "just a phase" as he told me back then and he realized this is who I am.

woouhhh going to Osheaga festival after I finish my coffee! I'm fucked up from last nght parties, but it'll pass fast!

my day was so shitty I hated it!
I was in a terrible mood because of my period, everyone and everything pissed me off, I had fun plans tonight but I wasn't able to make a decision whether I wanted to do this or that and in the end, I left my friends at 11.30pm to go home and be online, alone and pissed.
Also, tomorrow's Rock en Seine in France, and I'd love to be there, Emma's going, my brother too (they're gonna meet even, he's gonna stay at her place while they don't know each other, that's cool though, I'm glad)
I hope I'll be in a nicer mood tomorrow because the weekend starts.

I should just go to bed now but I can't sleep.

it's been a week since my last entry! I suck!!
and I can't write much right now because it's 2am already, getting up at 8am tomorrow for work. I just got back from Sylvain's place, I'm off to bed now, and going camping tomorrow right after work, wonder when I'll ever take time to update... on sunday maybe!!

I can't wait for work to be over tomorrow :)

It was last thursday, he told me they had a great time.
It's pretty cool I guess to play at a festival where the main band is Placebo.

It's so wierd to be sitting in front of my old PC, here, in my brother's room, feels like I'm stepping back a few years ago ...
Nothing has changed much, apart from the emptiness in my house without Prunelle and Kenzo...

The trip went well, I switched plane in Paris, and arrived in Lyon at 10.45am yesterday. My mom and her bf were there to pick me up, that was nice, but it didn't feel like it had been one year though ...
I felt lost when I arrived, french people are different from Quebequois, and I could feel it right away in Paris, I had to use the "vous" again even to a guy who wasn't much older than me...

We went to my mom's place right away, she seemed very happy to see me, so was I, but I was kinda fucked up. Also, her bf kept teasing me and laughing because of my "accent" which isn't that bad!!! that's funny, people here say that I took the accent, that I talk funny (even though I try not to big time!) but in montreal, people say that I definitly sound french, that I don't have the accent ..
Anyway, it's gonna go away soon here, I'll go back to the real french way after 2 days here :P

In the evening, my mom dropped me at my house, my dad's gf and my dad arrived a bit later. My dad looked cute and sporty :)
We talked a while outside, I love the weather!! Then Luca and his gf visited, we ordered pizzas and had a nice dinner outside, I kept talking about Montreal. well, just answering their questions!
Luca told me that when he listens to me, I soud like I belong there, like I feel home over there, I talk about it as if I actually live there for good .... I don't know man, it's messy in my head when it comes to that, but I guess holidays here will help me find out what I want ... hopefully..
But to be honest, even though it's more than great to see everyone, (I can't wait for my brother to come back from school tomorrow), I don't feel home much, I feel kinda lost.

Camille's coming may 2nd, it's like I can't wait to see her and see something familiar, some kind of connexion :P
(she told me the same, that was funny :p) but it sucks for her, because she doesn't know if she's going back to Montreal, as she diddn't get a reply from the ambassy yet :P she's freaking out and feels like shit :((

Anyway, don't get me wrong, I'm glad to be here, I'll enjoy it, will get some rest (i'm about to read my book outside right now), i'll see my brother's band play, i'll meet my friends from grenoble too, have a late birthday dinner saturday night with my mom's side family, i have lots of stuff planned...
i just need to disconnect from Montreal, and probably need a few days for that :P

ok, gonna unpack my suicase now :)
I slept 12 hours tonight, awesome!!

I'm leaving to the airport in 10min, I'm ready, was in a hurry, I only started packing this morning, I was willing to start this weekend but I wasn't home much, then yesterday I worked til 6, and Manu stopped by, then Emma arrived, then Anais too, we all went to get some beers, we drank outside in my backyard, then anais and manu left, but camille arrived to say bye, and we decided to go out, was back at 2.30am, slept til 8.30 to pack.
Then, I went back to my work to give something to a friend, stopped by vincent's job, he took a break, we had lunch together, and here I am, just about to leave :)
I'm glad i'm coming back, I couldn't say goodbye for good to anyone or even to Montreal !!

I can't wait to see my mom at the airport tomorrow morning :)

gotta go, i'll update when I can

January : I finally bought a laptop :D

February: It's been a while since my last PUBLIC entry :)
I like it private now, I find it easier to write certain things... but well I don't have much personal shit to say right now.

March : I'm having a nice lame week, it's great, I spend my days online ;) The last 2 weeks were hectic

April : I was ill with a sore throat all week almost, especially this weekend, with some fever also, so I didn't celebrate my birthday

May : FLIGHT LEAVES AT 1.40PM FROM LYON, I SWITCH IN PARIS AND ARRIVE AT 6.00PM (LOCAL TIME = MIDNIGHT IN FRANCE)

June : I'm changing appartment tonight, it's weird, it's like a first step is done here.. one month passed already, god it's scary.

July : I suck at updating, seriously, I have the Internet at home but I never manage to write anything

August : The last 4 days were GREAT. I had such a good time, just perfect. I will write about it later, I don't wanna forget it. The Gay Pride Parade, the Outgames, all the parties, the rafting ... not much sleep but a lot of laughs and happiness.

September : September 2nd, I arrived in Montreal 4 months ago exactly !! I can't believe it went that fast, seriously I don't quite realize it.

October : I'm back from the show !! it was great great great !! The music was so hot, they were so hot !

November : erm i should start over that journal, i feel like there are so many things missing in it but oh well...

December : They're putting my dog to sleep tomorrow. There's nothing else I wanna say, I feel so sad

Okay ... could it be that my journal's very boring ? :P
My year wasn't boring so it HAS to be the journal !!
If I'd have to sum up 2006 (it's not over yet, anything can happen still, right ? :p) I'd say that it was normal, not exciting from january til april.. the rest was amazing, different and new for sure but full of great moments !!! who would have thought ? Let's hope 2007 (7's a good number!) will be just as good or even better :)

oh my, I've been trying to find a bit of time to update, or just spend some time online but that seems impossible these days :P
Even now, I'm in a hurry...
I am having a great time.
Last time I updated, I was on my way to geneva.. so I went there by car with Nico (my brother's friend), I met Charley there, we stayed there all afternoon, I visisted people at my ex shop,then we went to a nice gay bar in the evening. Went back to annecy to go to the workshop thing (we call it Atelier, I don't know in english) to join Segolene. I love it there, I took some pictures I'll post them as soon as I have more than 10min :P Then we went out to eat, I came back home, it was late already, went straight to bed.
The next day, wenesday, I stayed with my mom, it was nice :) In the evening I went back to the "workshop", we stayed there, I checked what Charley, Segolene and Magalie did during the afternoonm some really cool stuff... Charley started a nice picture, it rocks. At the "workshop", I check what they do, drink beers, and listen to music.
We went back to Charley's place kinda late, ordered some pizzas, looked at some old pictures, segolene was with us too of course :) she is a friend of Charley in the first place, but now I know her quite well, and I really like her, we get along very well, I love being the 2 of them, we're like a really cool trio!LOL
The next day, thursday, I had a drink with Xavier, went back the to workshop, ate out, then to a pub.
Friday, I stayed with Segolene and charley all day, we had dinner in a creperie, went to a gay bar, walked back to charley's place, we were drunk, the walk lasted forever, we arrived at 3am, went to bed.
The next day we were supposed to go to geneva but we got up too late, so we stayed inside, didn't do much... then we met another friend for a drink, Cristina that I hadn^t seen in a while, it was nice catching up. Went back home in a hurry to get ready for the evening : 16 people of us (some family and friends) went to do a moutain walk in the snow by night. It was so much fun !!! I would love to write details about it, but right now i don't have enough time ... we walked up the mountain by night (with the moon light only) in the snow, it took us 1h30 min and at the top we ate at the restaurant, and walked all the way down, we got home at 4am! it was soooo cool !! I have pictures :)there were my cousins, some friends, my dad's gf children with friends... a LOT. We even did some fireworks, fought in the snow, drank a lot on the way. A really cool evening :D
Today I'm going to geneva to see Kill The Young play, I'm not a fan of them, but ît's close, it'll be fun :)
I'll sleep there!...

Home sweet home

I came back from Strasbourg sunday night, it was nice and fun !!! I'll write a litle review later, and one of Paris too, of course :D
I don't have enough time now...
Came back sunday night, unpacked, did 2 laundries in a row, shower and straight to bed! I was supposed to work early monday morning, do an inventory, but I didn't hear my alarm clock, I really lost all kind of proper "rythme", I went to bed really late and got up late for the last 10 days, and it's hard to go back to normal ...
So I did another inventory in the afternoon instead, the temp agency asked me to, I was glad, I can use a bit of money :PP
Afterward I met Charley and a friend (Ségolene) at a workshop kind of thing, downtown where they were painting and drawing stuff (real artist hehe). We bought some beers, spent some time at the workshop, then went out for dinner, came back to charley's place, and slept there, the 3 of us in his bed, so I didn't sleep very well.
Early this morning, I came back home, I had stuff to do but I fell asleep :P
And now I'm going to Geneva with a friend of my brother (singer of his band), he has a big crush on me, I hope it won't be awkward in the car :P Last time, at new year's eve it was fucked up bt we were both drunk so it was ok :P
I'm gonna meet Charley there and I'll visit Sarrah at work :D
Anyway, I gotta go now

I'm in a Net Café in Strasbourg, I just came to check what was the net world up to :P Yeah it's a drug, I can't even leave for 10 days without checking it :PP hehe
Oh well, I'll write an update too when I get back home.
So far, my holidays are just great !!! I had an awesome time in Paris and Strasbourg's fun too ;)
I should be back on sunday, I don't have a ticket yet, it depends on the plans I'll have for saturday evening.

It's been a while since my last PUBLIC entry :)
I like it private now, I find it easier to write certain things... but well I don't have much personal shit to say right now.
I enjoy my holidays big time, actually it's not really holidays, it's more like an unemployed period, but it's fun :))
Well, I've spent enough time in the temp agencies on monday, I also need to subscribe to the main unemployment agency but I'll do that when I come back from Strasbourg in case they call me for an interview while I'm there :P
I could probably find a job kinda easy but as I need one for 2 months only, that's tough :) I might check in Geneva again, it was annoying but it paid well!
I didn't save anything though like I was supposed to :P With the laptop, the London trip in march and many more expenses I had to do, I'm broke :P oh well, the psychic didn't mention any money trouble so, I can spend what I want :PP jk

Yesterday I went skating for almost 2 hours, it was nice :)
I met a friend for a hot chocolate afterward, then came back home, and stayed online, and watched an episode of DH season 2.
Today, I was supposed to go to Geneva, I need to give some stuff back to the shop I was working at, but I don't feel like going, I'm kinda lame :P
Well, it'll depend on Sarrah, if she tells me she's free today then I'll meet her there. It's not that it all depends on her (right :P) but if I have to go all the way there, I'd rather do it when I can meet her, it's obvious, or not ? :P
I'm also supposed to go to the movies tonight with Lucas, if I go to Geneva I might not make it in time...
I also need to pack for my trip, I'm leaving friday, and tomorrow I'll probably see Charley who's back from Belgium. I haven't seen him in a quite a while, and after the fights we've had on the phone and sms, it might be good to meet and actually talk !
